See how much stock you have and what it's worth

How much stock do you have, and how much cash is tied up in it? Your Inventory list now answers both at the top, with an Insights bar showing two figures across your whole catalogue: total on-hand quantity and total inventory value. Each one links straight into the Analytics query builder, so you can go from the headline number to the detail behind it in a click.

Inventory value is calculated as on-hand quantity × unit cost, and it gets more accurate once you record landed cost on your inbound shipments. Until then it falls back to the product value from Product Details, and a tooltip on the figure tells you which method is in use.

On Advanced and Plus, Inventory Insights adds history: track quantity, value, and volume over time, broken down by warehouse and product, so you can see how much cash is tied up in stock and watch it move week to week. More metrics, including turnover and stock age, are on the way.
