Track the exact unit in every order

For high-value goods, you often need to know exactly which physical unit went into which order, for warranties, returns, and after-sales. Bigblue can now capture and store serial numbers as your products are handled in the warehouse, starting with the IMEI for electronics.

Once you turn on serial capture for a product, operators are prompted to scan the identifier at two moments: at packing, before an outbound order is sealed, and at returns, as each unit comes back in. Atlas checks every scan against the serial it expects and flags anything unreadable or unexpected, so the data stays reliable. The captured numbers then appear on the order page in your app, in both the fulfilment and return sections.

IMEI is the first supported identifier, with more types on the way. To use it: turn on serial capture for the products that need it, and the serials are recorded automatically from then on.
