Know what your stock really costs

Bigblue can now capture and store serial numbers for products handled in the warehouse, starting with IMEI for electronics.

Once capture is enabled for a product, operators scan the identifier at two moments: at packing, before an outbound order is sealed, and at returns, as each unit comes back in. Every scan is checked against the expected serial, and anything unreadable or unexpected is flagged. Captured numbers appear on the order page, in both the fulfilment and return sections.

IMEI is the first supported identifier, with more types on the way. Exporting captured serial numbers and searching orders by serial number aren't available yet.

Capture is switched on by our team for the specific SKUs that need it, and it's billed per captured identifier.
