Never refund a reshipped order twice
When a parcel goes missing and you reship by duplicating the order, there's always a risk: if the original parcel later turns up and the customer returns it, you could end up compensating them twice. Bigblue now tracks the link between an order and its duplicate to prevent that.
Duplicating an order flags the original and records a link between the two. On the duplicate, you'll see a link back to its source order. On the source, a clear alert appears in both the Refund and Close return windows, and the duplication is logged in the timeline, so when you're reviewing a return it's obvious that a reshipment already went out.
The same signal protects your automations: refund steps in your Workflows skip orders that have been duplicated, rather than refunding one you've already reshipped. It all works automatically once an order is duplicated in Bigblue.
