Keep delivery promises visible after Shopify’s Script Tag phase-out

Fast Tag, the badge that shows an estimated delivery date on Shopify product pages, now runs through a Shopify app embed instead of a legacy Script Tag. The badge looks and works the same for shoppers.

Shopify is phasing out Script Tags on the following dates:

- October 1, 2026: Shopify stops accepting new or updated Script Tags.
- March 1, 2027: Shopify stops loading existing Script Tags on storefronts.

Moving Fast Tag to an app embed keeps delivery dates visible after these deadlines.

- New Fast Tag users: Follow the guided setup to enable the app embed.
- Existing Fast Tag users: If your store still uses the previous Script Tag version, it must move to the app embed before March 1, 2027.
- Stores already using the app embed: No action is required.

Where possible, Bigblue can enable the app embed directly in the store's Shopify admin. If you are unsure which version your store uses, contact your Bigblue representative to confirm whether you need to take action.
