Before working with Bigblue, Dermalogica used a 3PL service that made it impossible for them to track lot management or evaluate their logistics performance. On top of that, 22% of their stocks perished on the shelves of their ancient warehouse.

Dermalogica is able to track the expiration dates of every lot directly from the Bigblue App, automatically block shipping those with an expiration date shorter than 3 months, and set alerts to restock in time.
How did Bigblue help them achieve these results?
Each Dermalogica product has a specific expiration date. Bigblue’s technology is capable of tracking them in real-time so every time a client makes a new purchase, Bigblue’s warehouse makes sure to ship the products with the closest expiration date first! This process is known as FEFO (First-Expired, First-out).

How does Bigblue restock Dermalogica’s 150 beauty institutes, BHV, La Samaritaine, and Sephora?
Working with Bigblue, Dermalogica ships their wholesale orders to quickly and easily restock all of their proprietary beauty institutes, major retailers, and department stores including Galeries Lafayette, Sephora, BHV, and La Samaritaine. In 2021 Bigblue shipped more than half a million Dermalogica’s skincare products to physical points of sale.

Dermalogica offers an extraordinary delivery experience with branded tracking e-mails (with an open rate of 65%) to reassure customers about the status of their purchase. On top of that, their unique unboxing experience boosted buyer satisfaction to 94%.
Using Bigblue, Dermalogica allows its clients to discover a new line of products by automatically adding samples to their orders and increase their repeat sales with discount flyers in every package.
Taking it one step further, Dermalogica uses Bigblue’s gift-App feature to add products to their client’s orders for free. How does it work? Dermalogica can either establish conditions to add free gifts (promo codes, purchase amount) or launch seasonal marketing campaigns to automatically offer a gift to each order on a given period.
